Dried leaves of Teminalia cattapa improve water quality, act as a prevention against some diseases and have anti-inflammatory and antifungal effects.
The leaves can be boiled and the cooled broth can be used as a treatment bath for the snails, or a coconut substrate briquette can be divided in the concentrate. Enriched water can also be used for regular spray dew.
Boil 1-2 leaves (15-20 cm) per liter of water in a pot until the water darkens. The concentrate is best stored in a refrigerator in an airtight bottle (allow to warm before use).
The leaves can also be used as decoration and a natural shelter for small species of snails or young of larger species.
The leaf size is about 15-20 cm.
Store leaves in a dry place at room temperature.
